Embracing the Land, Empowering Communities

CLEGR Farm, owned and operated by Loni Jack from the Berens River First Nation, Treaty 5, Manitoba, is a unique space dedicated to fostering connections with the land and empowering our communities through education and sustainable practices.


Our Offerings


Starting after July 2024, we are excited to offer the following programs and services:

CLEGR FARMS- a cast iron frying pan with bannock wrapped hot dogs frying in oil

Land-Based Learning Program

We are proud to offer our Land-Based Learning Program specifically designed for First Nations clients supported by Jordan's Principle funding. This program provides enriching, hands-on educational experiences that:


- Foster a deep connection to the land

- Promote food security and sustainability

- Empower communities to become self-sustaining once again


Participants will engage in activities such as:


- Medicinal plant identification and traditional uses

- Outdoor skills training (fire making, land safety)

- Sustainable farming practices and gardening

- Outdoor cooking and meal preparation

- Guided farm walks and animal interactions


Programs for Child and Family Services Organizations


CLEGR Farm also extends its offerings to Child and Family Services organizations. Our programs are tailored to provide therapeutic and educational experiences in a natural, supportive environment. We focus on:


- Building confidence and self-reliance through outdoor skills

- Promoting mental and physical well-being through interaction with nature

- Teaching sustainable living practices and food security

Space Rentals

Looking for a unique space for your next staff meeting or corporate retreat? CLEGR Farm offers outdoor space rentals that provide an alternative environment for connecting with your team. Our serene, natural setting is perfect for:


- Team-building activities

- Strategic planning sessions

- Workshops and training programs


**Amenities include:**


- Outdoor cooking areas

- Clean and accessible washroom facilities

- Beautiful natural surroundings with farm animals and native habitats


Important Information for Attendees


We want to remind all attendees that CLEGR Farm is an active farm, so it’s important to dress appropriately. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear. Additionally, be prepared for mosquitos and other bugs by bringing insect repellent.

Future Offerings

Due to the high demand and our commitment to providing quality experiences, we currently have limited availability for our programs and space rentals. In the near future, we plan to expand our offerings to include schools and other organizations. If you are interested in our programs or rentals, we encourage you to reach out and join our waitlist to be among the first to know when new slots become available.
